Leigh is a biologist by training, receiving her undergraduate degree at Bryn Mawr College and her PhD from Vanderbilt. She is currently works for the Jackson Laboratory for Genomic Medicine preparing and analyzing large scientific data sets.
Leigh’s experience while living in Boston, makes Leigh a perfect fit for Zoning Board of Appeals. She worked with community groups involved with town development. Leigh volunteered as a resident with the task force dealing with Harvard’s expansion into the community involving discussions surrounded what resident’s wanted from their neighborhood and how integrated (or not) Harvard was to be within Allston. Leigh’s community activities currently center around her children’s activities and is an active member of the Prospect Democratic Town Committee. |
John and his wife moved to Prospect to be closer to his grandchildren. Pre-Prospect, John worked in technology and software for 49 years. He wrote software before most of us had a home computer. He worked for IBM for 20 years, bringing IBM’s speech recognition to its first customer.
Since moving here, John has helped with re-purposing Community School to the Prospect Community Center. He is also an active member of the Regency community, starting many committees and writing a newsletter for his neighbors. John is running for Zoning Board of Appeals to give back to Prospect. |
